In Bloom

We had a taste of early spring for a couple of days. 70s. Unreal. Now we're back to square one with the weather. We've had a ton of rain and much more on the way. I love hearing the water come off the mountain. Maybe I'll take a walk to it tomorrow and post a video and photos.

There's a creek down the road from us that was dry for almost a year...now, it's back to running well. Makes me happy.

But don't get it twisted, we've had a lot of snows this winter. I'm also thankful for that. Snow makes crops grow. It's good for the soil, believe it or not.

I'd like to start an herb garden this year. I'd also like to grow some lettuce. Maybe some jalapenos, too.

I've been slacking on putting birdseed out for my feathered friends, although I do think a squirrel has been having a feast with it,too. Feed them all, I guess.
