Never Easy
This band is new to me, youtube actually recommended them to me. I didn't expect them to be on repeat as much as they have. If you love 2000s metal, these guys are definitely worth checking out. A lot of people have compared them to the Deftones, which I can definitely hear. Their music brings back so much nostalgia, like my brother renting resident evil at Superstar(we didn't have blockbuster) and us staying up all night trying to beat it. My favorite songs: stay, drown, & show me. Add them to your playlist, you won't regret it.
Alice In Chains
Grunge, enough said. Can we please have music that sounds like grunge agai
n? This house techno era we're in is annoying. You can't go wrong with this band. Layne had that unique voice, it was so different from any other band. Favorite songs: stay away, nutshell, would?, rooster
Nine Inch Nails
I cant forget about these guys. I've always said I wanted lyrics from a NIN song tattooed on, particularly from "The Fragile". She shines in a world full of ugliness, she matters when everything is meaningless. I love that line, it always spoke to me for some reason. Songs: Dead Souls, Everyday Is Exactly The Same, The Fragile.
Stone Temple Pilots
"Take time with a wounded hand". My gosh these guys are so good. Again with the grunge. I can't help it. I miss music like this so much. I know times change but grunge is forever. No notes. Songs: creep, interstate love song, plush, dead & bloated.
Slipknot
Before we had swifties, there were maggots. Vermillion Part 2 has been played quite a bit on my Spotify playlist. Corey kills it on the vocals, as usual. The way the music and his voice go together is out of this world. Songs: Vermillion pt 2, Snuff, Before I forget
Deftones
I couldn't forget..again with the nostalgia. Chinos voice, enough said. Songs: rosemary, change, my own summer, cherry waves.
That's all I have for this month. They've been in heavy rotation...next months playlist may look totally different but for now, we'll stay where we're at.
